Typical responsibilities for this position include support for the TAK suite of tools and mobile devices encompassing configuration, baselining, documentation, training, and lifecycle support.

Responsibilities

Responsible for installing, configuring, instructing, and troubleshooting Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK), WinTAK, TAK Server, iTAK, and other mobile devices and related IT equipment. Establishes and maintains configuration baselines and documentation for mobile device configurations, including patches, operating systems, COTS, GOTS, and in-house applications. Serves as the technical resource responsible for device management to provision, deploy, manage, and support devices aligned with customer-directed security and configuration standards. Works with other IT professionals as directed to coordinate efforts, troubleshoot peripheral and hardware issues, resolve cross-team issues, and communicate and track changes for communications networks. Instruct customers on using and operating ATAK, WinTAK, TAK Server, iTAK, mobile devices, and other IT equipment as required. Self-motivated to research and follow trending technologies and applications in the mobile sector.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • MS Windows 7 Operating System or later
  • Linux / Android OS experience
  • Microsoft Office / Outlook 2010 or later
  • Proficient in configuration and management of mobile devices, such as tablets and phones (Android)
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms for device updates, inventory, and reporting
  • Good communication skills; shows tact, effective listening skills, and follow-through
  • Ability to instruct others on how to operate all tools associated with TAK and related IT equipment
  • Detail-oriented and organized and can document and update processes and procedures
  • Solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and resolve application compatibility issues
  • Interested in new mobile methodologies and technologies

Responsibilities

  • Must have a Secret security clearance and be able to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI
